Gayle entered the world of Dentistry in 1990 as a Trainee Dental Nurse, qualified in 1992 and continued her education at King’s College, London where she qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1995. Since then she has enjoyed working in General Practice, both NHS and Independent, and has worked alongside dentists with a special interest in Implantology for a number of years. Gayle has a particular interest in Implant maintenance and enjoys ongoing professional education in this field. She works one day a week at Torbay Hospital in the Maxilla Facial department which has added to Gayle’s skill set, helping people care for their mouths through Radiotherapy/Chemotherapy for head and neck cancers. This is a very rewarding position and she is continuing her education and understanding of oral cancers. Gayle enjoys her profession immensely and strives to provide the best care for her patients, maintaining a high level of oral hygiene and fighting the ongoing battle of periodontal disease. She continues to improve her education and knowledge by attending post-graduate training programs. With two children who are now starting to find their own paths in life, Gayle enjoys spending precious time with her family, Yoga, music, reading and walking her Dog Teddy.
